Photographer Rich Stone, a former Navy pilot, is currently an American Airlines Captain and, with the exception of large dog eating snakes, is a life-long animal lover.

His dog, Hunter, is a Rhodesian Ridgeback who loves the beach but hates to get her collar wet. She is featured in more than a couple photos, due more to accidental placement than family connections. And she works for cookies.


Viveca Stone-Berry is the author of the Fatigue Be Gone! Jumpstart e-Guide, the "voice" of the SPCA Fredericksburg Comcast Cable Show "Making Friends" and a  volunteer dog caretaker for her SPCA. She encourages you to join in and "walk off the lbs and pack on the TLC" by volunteering a couple hours a week to your hometown shelter or rescue. (Psst ... Kitty petters, cage cleaners, envelope stuffers, receptionists, drivers, special events supporters ... whatever your talent, however you can help, please apply now.
